General FAQ’s

Do you make bespoke celebrations cakes?

Unfortunately at this time we’re not offering a bespoke cake decorating service. However we do have a range of celebration cupcakes you can order via the online shop. Please check back to the website or sign up for the mailing list for updates about our cakes.

Do you make and supply buffet food?

If you have an enquiry regarding a buffet order, please ring your local branch.

Do you make any gluten free products?

Unfortunately not, due to the limited space in our bakehouse, we are unable to have a suitable facility to create a safe space to create gluten-free products.

Do you have any Vegan products?

Yes, much of our bread is vegan and we stock hot vegan savouries too. Please contact your local branch to check specific items.

Can you cater for large orders and events?

Yes, we are happy to make large orders of rolls, bread, cakes, cupcakes & pastries for events. Please check out Corporate & Catering page for more information.

Are you open Sunday & Bank Holidays?

We are closed Sunday and on Bank Holiday’s

Delivery FAQ’s 

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER SPEND FOR AN ONLINE DELIVERY?

Yes, we do have a minimum spend of £15 for delivery.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR DELIVERY?

No, we do not charge for delivery however there is a minimum spend of £15 for online orders.

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

“At checkout, you can select your delivery day from the available dates highlighted on screen. We’ll then send you tracking info on the day of your delivery so you can see where your tasty treats are and their estimated delivery time.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER?

We offer at-home deliveries Tuesday – Saturday.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER LOCALLY TO?

Currently, we are able to deliver to the following postcode areas:

RG1, RG2, RG4, RG5, RG6, RG7, RG10 9, RG10 0, RG12 8, RG18 3, RG18 4, RG19 3, RG19 4, RG26 3, RG26 4, RG27 0, RG30, RG31, RG40, RG41, RG45, RG9 2 & RG9 1

Limited RG8 8 postcodes – including Purley on Thames, Pangbourne, Tidmarsh, Sulham, Upper Basildon

If your postcode isn’t on this list then please do Get In Touch and we will let you know if we can add it to our delivery area.

Do you deliver nationwide?
We deliver our bakes and treats across mainland UK via Royal Mail and DPD. You can choose which carrier you would like to use for your delivery at checkout. We offer next day delivery from Tuesday to Saturday. Our bakers take a well-earned rest on a Sunday hence we are back in the bakery on Mondays to make sure you get your bakes from Tuesday onwards. We also offer scheduled delivery so you can choose the date when you would like to receive your bakes and treats.

WHAT TIME WILL MY DELIVERY ARRIVE?

We don’t have timed delivery slots to choose from when ordering, but on the day we’ll send you tracking info so you can see where your tasty treats are and their estimated delivery time.

Please note that all deliveries to Thatcham, Cold Ash, Beenham, Upper Buckleberry, Woolhampton, Crookham & Tadley will be delivered between 6.00-7 am please specify a safe place to leave your order and whether you would like us to knock in the notes before checking out. Many thanks.

DO I NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO ORDER?

No, you don’t. Paypal is our merchant provider which allows secure online payments, so you can be confident your ordering safely. Payment can be made by all major credit/debit cards. If you do have a Paypal account, this can be used for quick checkout without the need to add any payment details.

CAN I ORDER BY PHONE FOR DELIVERY?

Not at this time. We are happy to provide a Call & Collect service by calling your local store, but we’re unable to coordinate phone orders for delivery due to the small team we have managing our new delivery service and the fact that we operate over several locations.

I’m not going to be in, can you leave my delivery?

Yes, we’re happy to leave your delivery in a safe space. Just let us know when checking out where you would like your delivery left.

Can I have my bread unsliced?

All of our bread online is sliced with the exception of the small white cob & the large white bloomer.
