    The bread pudding was excellent. However I paid for delivery by DPD but the bakes were delivered by the Post Office, the cheaper option.
    Also, I wanted to buy other bakes as well but whenever I included additional items the delivery charge rose to £100’s ?

      We wanted to offer some context that might help explain your experience. The date printed on the packaging is a best before date, not a use by. This means the product is still safe to eat after that date — it’s simply a guide to when the texture or flavour may be at its best. We never send out products past their use by date.

      As for the texture, our bread pudding is made fresh without preservatives or long-life packaging, which does mean it’s more sensitive to changes in temperature. With the recent spell of warmer weather, it’s likely that the product naturally sweated in transit, causing the top to become quite sticky and the sugar to dissolve. While this can affect the appearance and texture, the pudding is still safe and delicious to eat.
