We’re looking for a friendly, approachable, and community-minded individual to lead our Henley bakery and coffee shop. About the Role:
As Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience and make Henley a success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding service
Maintaining high standards in food hygiene, presentation and product quality
Overseeing daily operations, including food production and staff scheduling
Identifying ways to grow sales and enhance the customer experience
What We’re Looking For:
A friendly nature and a genuine interest in people
Previous management or supervisory experience (retail or hospitality preferred)
Strong organisational and leadership skills
A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for excellent service and problem-solving
Hours:
Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (5-day week plus 1-in-5 Sunday rota). Flexibility to cover staff holidays is essential.

Mobile Bakery Van Sales Assistant
Job Role: Mobile Bakery Sales Assistant
Location: Reading Area
Job Type: Part-time (Friday's circa 6 hours a week)
Required: Clean Driving License & must be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, entrepreneurial individual who loves chatting with customers, thrives on adaptive work hours, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving and managing our mobile bakery van at local pitches and events.
- Operating EPOS (Till System) and ordering systems to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Ensuring all Food Safety Compliance is completed daily.
- Serving fresh bread and pastries.
- Building friendly relationships with regulars.
- Managing stock, setting up displays, and keeping the van looking beautiful.
- Keeping an ear out for new event opportunities and community markets.
- Taking card payments.
You’ll love this job if you:
- Experience in a supervisory or management roles.
- Experience in a food truck role is desirable but not essential.
- Are naturally entrepreneurial and dream of running your own café or food business.
- Enjoy working independently, outdoors, and being on the move.
- Are a confident, friendly conversationalist with great customer service skills.
- Are hands-on, practical and good at keeping things organised.
- 25+and hold a clean UK driving license.
Schedule:
- Friday 7 – 2pm currently
- Ad hoc weekend availability required

At our award-winning bakery, we produce bread and confectionery to supply our six branches, wholesale and online delivery service.
